Boost the Gameday Experience with CUE

FanThreeSixty is proud to partner with Rhode Island FC (RIFC), helping the club reach and engage fans through its FanThreeSixty mobile app, Fan Data Platform, and membership tools. Read how our mobile integration with CUE made both partners shine and deliver winning results.

 

Goal

RIFC wanted to drive more fans to its mobile app and engage fans in a new way by inviting them to be a bigger part of the game day experience. 

 

📈Solution

Through the CUE SDK that FanThreeSixty integrated into the club's mobile app, RIFC was able to launch a synchronized light show for fans at the game
RIFC promoted the feature ahead of games through mobile communications, a ‘Know Before You Go’ email, social channels, and in-stadium video screens, encouraging fans to download the app to unlock the experience.

When gameday arrived and the music for the team introductions began, fans' phones lit up in an immersive, choreographed visual experience that increased energy throughout the venue. 

 

💥Result

In less than two weeks, RIFC had over 500 new app registrations! Additionally, Active Mobile Users in this period was up 100% compared to the previous month. 

Mobile communications promoting the light show generated the most impressions of any gameday activation this season and achieved an engagement rate about 10% above RIFC's average.

Together, FanThreeSixty and CUE helped RIFC create an elevated in-stadium experience that boosted fan participation and mobile engagement.

Rhode Island FC, A Club for All Rhode Island, is independently owned and operated, and is the only homegrown men’s professional team in the state. It is led by co-founders Brett M. Johnson and former MLS and U.S. Men’s National Soccer team player Michael Parkhurst, a Rhode Island native. The club began play in 2024, advancing to the USL Championship Final in its inaugural season. RIFC opened the 2025 season at home in its permanent stadium, Centreville Bank Stadium, in downtown Pawtucket.
